古晉: Guide
古晉是马来西亚最大一州——位於婆羅洲北端的东马来西亚的砂勞越之首府。
古晋（Kuching）是马来语猫的意思，古晋也是所谓的猫城。在古晋北市也有个“猫博物馆”。古普更有一歷史博物館，展示之歷史文物，堪稱東南亞最豐富的博物館．
古晋人口住有华人、马来人、印度人及当地的内陆民族，也就是达雅族。
住在古晋市区的华人以客家人居多。华人当中，福建人及诏安人又以从事商业及建筑为主，客家人多务农，莆田|興化人多从事渔业、轮胎等零件业，海南人多经营咖啡店，潮州人多经营杂活业，福州人也多数从商，还有金融及木材业。
虽然大马是以回教為国教，但仍屬於宗教自由的国度，本地华人多信奉佛教、道教、基督教、天主教等等。最广为人知的，是青山岩的寺庙及“寿山亭大伯公庙”。
古晋是座民风淳朴的城市，跟其他大城市比较起来，古晋人的生活较悠闲，步伐没那么匆忙。
