维尔纽斯（Vilnius），立陶宛首都。其舊城為世界文化遺產。
歷史
在歷史上，維爾紐斯曾因為各種政治及軍事的原因而曾屬於不同的國家。
維爾紐斯本來是立陶宛的歷史古都。後來立陶宛與波蘭合併成為波蘭立陶宛聯邦，維爾紐斯亦失去了首都的地位。之後因為戰爭，維爾紐斯被沙俄|俄羅斯佔領了，以至在第一次世界大戰之後重新獨立的立陶宛失去了這個舊都。第二次世界大戰時立陶宛被蘇聯吞併，維爾紐斯又再度從烏克蘭回到立陶宛。
